Who we are

Tofan Cladding Specialists Ltd (company number 10693798, registered office 21 Stitchman House, Northampton, NN5 5HG) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at victortofan@yahoo.co.uk or on 07803 548181.

What we collect and why

Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we collect your name, company, phone number, email address, project location, your message and any file you attach. We use this to respond to your enquiry, price the work and, if we go ahead, to deliver it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where you ask us to quote, taking steps before entering into a contract.

Phone, email and WhatsApp. If you call, email or message us we keep the contact details and correspondence needed to deal with your enquiry. WhatsApp is provided by Meta and is covered by its own privacy policy.

Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and running. We do not use analytics or advertising tracking on this site. See our cookie notice.

Who we share it with

Enquiry emails are delivered through Resend, our email service provider, and the website is hosted by Vercel. Both act as processors on our behalf. We do not sell personal data or share it with anyone else except where the law requires it, or with professional advisers where necessary.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for up to two years afterwards, in case the project goes ahead later. Where an enquiry leads to a contract, records are kept for the period required for tax and legal purposes, normally six years after the work is completed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and in some cases to have it transferred to someone else. To exercise any of these rights, email victortofan@yahoo.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
